Everything you need to know before getting started.
How are lessons structured?
Lessons take place on an interactive online whiteboard. Methods are explained step by step, followed by worked examples. Students then practise exam-style questions, increasing in difficulty to build confidence. Notes are saved after each lesson. Progress is reinforced through homework, tests, and exam practice.
How do online lessons work?
Lessons are held via Microsoft Teams, alongside an online whiteboard where everything is explained in real time. All notes are saved and shared after the lesson, so they can be revisited at any point after the lesson.
How will I know my child is improving?
Progress is tracked throughout tuition, so you’re never left guessing. You will always be kept up to date with clear feedback on what is improving and what still needs attention.
What is needed for lessons?
All that’s needed is a laptop, iPad, or any device with Microsoft Teams installed. If the student has a tablet or iPad with a pen, they can write directly on the whiteboard, otherwise, paper works perfectly fine.
What if I need to re-schedule or cancel a class?
No problem! If you can get in touch as early as you can, we’ll find another time that works.
Can I book a trial lesson?
Yes, a trial lesson is certainly encouraged! It’s a great chance for your child to experience the teaching style first hand. My aim is to make the whole process as simple and stress-free as possible for both student and parent.
